Privacy Policy
Effective November 2, 2026
Structured Office, Inc., including its affiliates and subsidiaries (“Structured Office,” “maars.io,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the maars.io website, the live demo at maars.io/demo, and the maars.io platform (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from or about you, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
By using the Services you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services. We may update this policy from time to time; we will post changes on this page and update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept them.
This policy does not cover third-party websites or services that link to, or are linked from, the Services (for example, scheduling, ad-platform or payment providers). Please review their privacy policies directly.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
We collect information you provide when you contact us, book a demo, request a trial, become a customer, or create or are given a platform account. This may include your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, billing and contract details, account credentials, support requests, and any other information you choose to share with us.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Services, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit. Inside the platform we also keep logs of account activity (for example sign-ins and changes to records) for security, audit and support purposes.
Information from other sources
We may receive business contact information from partners, public sources, professional networks and industry events, and we may combine it with information we already hold so our records are accurate and complete.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain and improve the Services;
- set up customer accounts, configure integrations, and deliver onboarding, consulting and support;
- respond to inquiries and schedule demos;
- send service, billing and security communications;
- send product news and marketing to business contacts, where permitted by law;
- analyze usage, compile statistics, and develop new features;
- detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents or illegal activity; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Customer data in the platform
maars.io helps ad networks, publishers and media companies reconcile advertiser invoices and publisher earnings. To do this, customers connect the platform to ad servers, SSPs, DSPs and other systems through APIs, or upload files. The resulting financial and business records — such as advertiser, agency, publisher, campaign, invoice and payout data (“Customer Data”) — belong to our customer.
We process Customer Data on our customer’s behalf and under our agreement with that customer. We do not sell Customer Data or use it for our own advertising. If you are an individual whose information appears in a customer’s records, please contact that customer directly; we will assist them in responding to your request.
The live demo at maars.io/demo uses sample data only. Settings you change in the demo are stored in your own browser and are not sent to us.
6. Your choices
- Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. We will still send service, billing and security messages related to your account.
- Account information. Platform users can update certain profile information in the platform or ask their company administrator or us for help.
- Access and deletion. You may ask us for a copy of, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you as described below.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, meet contractual commitments, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal, tax and accounting requirements. Customer Data is retained according to our agreement with the customer.
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and activity logging. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Notice to U.S. state residents
Residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access, correct or delete it; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
In the past 12 months we may have collected the following categories of personal information, from you directly, automatically, or from the other sources described above, for the purposes described in this policy:
- Identifiers — such as name, business email address, phone number, IP address and account name.
- Commercial information — such as records of services purchased, contracts and billing history.
- Internet or network activity — such as interactions with the website and platform logs.
- Professional information — such as employer and job title.
We disclose these categories to service providers for business purposes. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. You or your authorized agent may submit a request using the contact details below. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and may decline where an exception under applicable law applies.
9. Notice to EEA, Swiss and UK residents
For personal information we process for our own purposes, Structured Office, Inc. is the controller. For Customer Data, our customer is the controller and we act as its processor.
Legal bases. We process personal data to perform a contract with you or your organization; to comply with legal obligations; for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, marketing and improving the Services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and with your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Transfers. We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States or other countries whose laws may differ from those of your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.
Your rights. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
